    Yes, you can still participate in airsoft games without UKARA registration. However, you will be limited to using Two-Tone airsoft guns, which are typically brightly colored to distinguish them from real firearms.

    UKARA registration is required by law in the UK to purchase realistic imitation firearms (RIFs). It helps to ensure responsible ownership and use of airsoft guns, as well as maintaining the safety and integrity of the airsoft community.

  • How do I get UKARA registered?
    To become UKARA registered, you need to meet certain criteria. Join us for 3 game days within a two-month period. Remember, these games must be booked online through our website.and be 18 years old of age. Once you've met the play requirements, simply email us to initiate your UKARA registration. We'll guide you through the next steps to get your license.
  • Can I transfer my UKARA registration?
    UKARA registrations are non-transferable. They are tied to the individual who has met the requirements for registration and cannot be transferred to another person.
  • Are airsoft guns dangerous?
    Airsoft guns are designed to shoot small plastic BBs and are considered safe when used responsibly and with proper protective gear. However, it is important to always follow safety rules and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries.
  • Can I bring my own airsoft gun?
    Yes players are allowed to bring their own airsoft guns to games and events. However, it is important to comply with the field's rules and regulations regarding FPS (feet per second) limits and safety guidelines.
  • Which is more popular, airsoft or paintball?
    Both airsoft and paintball have their own dedicated communities and popularity varies depending on the region. It's best to check with local groups or venues to see which one is more popular in your area.
  • Is airsoft painful?
    Airsoft can involve some level of impact and discomfort, but the intensity of the sensation varies from person to person. Protective gear, such as masks and thicker clothing, helps minimize any potential discomfort. Remember, safety is our top priority, and we ensure that all players are equipped with the necessary protective gear to enhance their safety and enjoyment during the game.

    Yes, we offer HPA refills on-site during every game day. Refills are available for just £1 per refill. Please note that we only accept cash payments for refills. Make sure to come prepared, so you can stay fully charged and keep your game going!
  • Are there different game types in airsoft?

  • Do I need any prior experience to play airsoft?

  • Should I bring a water bottle?
    We recommend you bring a water bottle, however we also supply free bottled water and our staff will ensure there are necessary drinks/toilet breaks throughout the day.

  • Are there rental options available for airsoft equipment?
    Yes, we offer rental packages that include airsoft guns, protective gear, and even ammunition. This allows newcomers or players without their own equipment to still participate in the games.
  • How old do I need to be to play airsoft?
    To participate in airsoft games at our site, players must be at least 12 years old. However, players under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult or guardian. We prioritize safety and ensure that our activities are conducted in a controlled environment. Additionally, our facility is fully covered by insurance to provide a secure and enjoyable experience for all participants.
  • Can I rent equipment if I don't have my own?
    Yes, many airsoft fields offer rental equipment for players who don't have their own gear. This allows newcomers or those without equipment to still enjoy the game without making a large investment upfront.
  • What equipment do I need to play airsoft?
    Basic equipment for airsoft includes an airsoft gun, protective eyewear, and appropriate clothing. Additional gear such as face masks, tactical vests, and knee pads can enhance your gameplay experience but are not essential.
  • What if my laser tag gun breaks during a game?
    Make a member of staff aware immediately, and they will supply you with a new one to continue taking part. We have a zero-tolerance policy on the misuse of our equipment.
  • Do the lasers from the laser tag guns damage your eyes?
    Not at all, they work with lensed infrared LEDs, similar to the technology in your TV remote control.
  • What clothing should I/my child wear?
    We are an outdoor venue, so please wear weather-appropriate clothing. As we operate on grassland, suitable footwear is necessary.
  • Are there facilities for parents/carers to stay?
    Yes, we operate from a large military tent and offer free tea and coffee on a self-service basis.
  • Is the site safe for children?
    Yes, we make every effort to ensure the site is safe. There is no general public access to the site, and parties are booked privately. The entire site is fenced, and all activities are risk-assessed to minimize danger. At least one member of staff on site at all times is First-Aider at Work certified.
  • Are the laser tag guns heavy?
    Yes, our laser tag guns weigh approximately 3 to 4 kilograms. We do not recommend parties for children under 7 years old. If the weight of the guns is potentially a problem, we recommend booking a Basic party as we can provide plenty of alternative activities.
  • What if I want to bring birthday cakes and/or extra snacks for my party?
    We have tables for you to set up on; however, they are functional rather than fashionable, so we recommend bringing disposable tablecloths. Please note that parties may be booked with a 30-minute interval, so we kindly ask that you consider other customers and vacate the site on time.
  • What parking facilities are there?
    We have ample parking space available. Please note that the parking area is next to horses, so strictly observe the 5mph speed limit. We take no responsibility for vehicle damage or valuables left in vehicles.
  • Is there any other information I will need to know?
    All sessions begin with a full safety brief (lasting approximately 15 minutes) that will cover everything relevant for that day.
  • How far do the laser tag guns shoot?
    Depending on the weather conditions, the laser tag guns can shoot anywhere from 30 to 70 meters.
  • What if we experience something we aren't happy with on the day?
    Please speak to a member of staff immediately, and they will do their best to rectify any issues you may have.
  • What if the weather is bad for my party?
    We honor all party bookings with the availability to postpone to another date at no extra cost. Our laser tag guns can't be operated in torrential rain, but we do have alternative activities to keep the attendees entertained.
  • Should I bring a water bottle?
    We recommend bringing a water bottle, but we also provide free bottled water, and our staff will ensure there are necessary drink/toilet breaks throughout the day.
  • Do you supply food?
    We no longer provide lunch for the 2-hour sessions. However, there are snacks available for purchase, and you're welcome to bring and enjoy your own food in the designated eating area.
  • Are there toilet facilities on site?
    Yes, we have regularly serviced portable restrooms.
  • What if I/my child feels unwell during the games?
    Please speak to a member of staff immediately, and they will take immediate action to care for your well-being.
  • Do we need to wear head sensors/chest sensors?
    No, our laser tag guns are equipped to function entirely on their own.
