Airsoft Army Site Rules & Info
Airsoft is an incredible hobby and sport, and we are dedicated to ensuring you have an
exceptional experience at Airsoft Army. Our goal is to provide you with the best airsoft
experience possible. We have professional, smart, and friendly marshals and staff to make sure
your day is memorable. We welcome both seasoned players and newcomers and offer quality rental equipment.
While airsoft is a thrilling activity, it's important to address issues like cheating that can
potentially affect the experience negatively. At Airsoft Army, we are committed to eliminating cheating and ensuring a fair and honest playing environment.
Below are the general rules for the Airsoft Army site. These rules may slightly vary at different venues we operate. Please pay close attention to the full safety briefing at 10:00AM for morning sessions,1:00 PM for afternoon sessions or 7:00 PM for night games. If you have any questions or uncertainties, don't hesitate to ask.
Age Limit: We are fully insured for players aged 12 and over. Eye protection must be worn at all times within the playing area. We highly recommend "Full Face" protection for all players, as our insurance does not cover dental injuries. Shooting/ballistic goggles or glasses are permitted.
Players under 18 must wear full face protection all the time. Airsoft Army provides full face protection for under-18s at no cost.
Starting September 1st, 2026, Airsoft Army is excited to introduce a new feature – full automatic firing mode with unique changes to the shooting rules! Your LMG or big support weapon must be under 315 FPS with 0.20g BBs to qualify for full auto, allowing for dynamic 2-second,minimum engsgement distance of 20 metres.
Full Auto may only be used while firing from the ground level,no full auto firing inside buildings
For any another airsoft weapons a maximum of 350 FPS with 0.20g BBs, only
single-shot mode is permitted—no burst firing allowed.
Ammunition Quality: Any type of 6 mm BBs may be used, but we recommend using
biodegradable BBs. Low-quality, brightly colored ammunition is not allowed.
Pistols: Spring or gas pistols must not exceed 350 FPS (0.20g BBs).
Shotguns: Spring or gas, single or multiple shot shotguns are limited to 350 FPS
(0.20g BBs).
Electric or gas assault weapons: The maximum allowed limit is 350 FPS.
DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle): Possible with 350 FPS
Sniper / Bolt Action: Possible with 350 FPS
LMG (Light Machine Gun): Possible with 315 FPS
HPA weapons: Allowed but must follow to the FPS limits for the specific weapon
type. Any HPA or gas-powered weapon with a high rate of fire will have burst
restrictions.
All Airsoft Weapons: Must strictly comply with UK FPS limits.
CO2 Powered Weapons: CO2 pistols must not exceed 350 FPS. CO2 rifles must
follow the same FPS rules as their spring or electric counterparts.
Hobby Lasers: We permit the use of hobby lasers up to Class III/3R (Red or Green) unless
stated otherwise in the game brief or booking information. However, it is strictly prohibited to aim lasers directly at players' eyes. Lasers should be used for intimidation and marking targets.
Rules of Engagement: All missions involve firefights with specific rules of engagement,
including shouldering your weapon with two hands and maintaining control at all times. Blind firing is strictly prohibited. Aim at your target while looking down the sights. Shooting through gaps smaller than A4 size is not allowed.
Hit Rules: When you are hit by BBs, regardless of the impact force, you are considered "HIT."
When hit, you must raise your weapon in the air and loudly announce "HIT!" It is essential to make it clear to avoid being shot at again. After being hit, make your way to your team's
designated dead zone (respawn). Do not shoot at players with their weapons raised. Dead players cannot communicate until they reach the dead zone.
Weapon Hits: Hits on weapons do count. Ricochets do not count. Headshots do count. Friendly fire does count.
No Shooting into Respawn Areas: Shooting into the opposition team's respawn area is
prohibited.(5 metres distance from respawn)
Cheating: Any form of cheating is strictly forbidden. Players caught cheating will be asked to leave the site immediately and will not be welcome at any future airsoft events.
Pyrotechnics: Only Airsoft Army approved pyro/smokes (e.g., TLFSX, Enola Gaye) are allowed on site. Pyrotechnics can be used by players aged 18 and over. Mk5s are permitted as long as they are not louder than 120 decibels (DB). Blank Firing Grenades (BFGs): 9mm BFGs are allowed. Please see a marshal for more information on game days.
Ammo: Maximum 0.30 on site please
Other Rules: No alcohol is allowed on site at any time. The use of illegal substances, weapons, sharp blades, etc., is strictly prohibited. Climbing trees is not allowed, and pyro should not be thrown into or under vehicles. Climbing on the roofs of buildings is only allowed in designated shooting areas.
